SEWING MACHINE NEWS

Sewing Machine Service Clinic –

Johnson’s Sewing Center will coming to Suzy Q’s Quilt Shop the first week in November to do servicing/repairs to all types of sewing machine, embroidery machines and sergers. They will also be doing scissor sharpening. You must RESERVE your service space NO LATER THAN 4:30 pm on Wednesday October 27th^, 2010 by calling in or e-mailing. Machine(s) and/or scissors MUST be physically IN OUR STORE no later than 4:30 pm on Wednesday November 3, 2010. You will be called when your machine is ready for pick up. Sewing Machines Sales – We partner with Johnsons Sewing Center in Edmonton – they provide us a variety of Janome sewing machines for you to check out, demo and order if you choose. Johnson’s provides us with exceptional service and depending on the day of the week a machine is ordered – it can be here within two days! We are pleased to announce that we now have the newest Janome Horizon in store for demos. It truly is a remarkable machine! Come on in the shop to see all the machines anytime. BUT for One Day Only - On November 6, 2010 – On site machine sales -- Brad from Johnsons will be here with lots of machines for you to try including other models/brands that he carries. Most machines will be available to purchase on site on this day only -- Saturday, November 6 – mark your calendars, and come in and see him, get all the info, and even take one home that day (would make a great Christmas gift…..) Spread the news…………the Sewing Machine Santa is coming to town…..

Heather Stewart Sessions are filling up fast. The Spiral Bargello Workshop is now full. Limited spaces available for the Cobblestones Quilt so don't delay - register today to secure your seat. We have more available in the wonderful Friday Night Trunk Show and Saturday Night Color Harmony Lecture - very beneficial to anyone, and I encourage all beginners to register. You will learn sooooo much!
